Grâce à son smartphone, Lynette Jackson approche au plus près des formes architecturales, créant une histoire à chacune des œuvres qu’elle documente. Son travail est influencé par le design et l’architecture modernes et contemporains. Parmi ses inspirations, on retrouve le graphisme suisse, Richard Paul Lohse, Julius Shulman et les pochettes de disques réalisées par Reid Miles pour BlueNote. Elle a été lauréate du Mobile Masters 2014 ainsi qu’une des artistes phares du livre électronique, « Mobile Masters 2 » de Dan Marcolina. Elle participe à l’élaboration de tutoriels de photo mobile et on a pu admirer ses œuvres sur le plateau de la première saison du talk show « Property Envy » de la chaîne américaine Bravo. Quatre de ses images ont été sélectionnées pour le Los Angeles-Mobile Arts Festival en 2012. Elle fait partie de l’avant-garde de la photo mobile.

"My work is an exploration of a re-imagined environment for the subject of each piece. After deconstruction, I begin to rebuild my subject by applying layers of color, repetitive patterns, light and shadow, simple squares and rectangles. Spontaneity guides placement of these elements bringing forth an abstracted outcome which examines new relationships, new meaning, and appreciation for the space an object inhabits. My mobile device is an extension of my life. It is my means of connecting with friends and family, navigates my daily travels, and allows me to maintain all of my social media platforms. My mobile device is my digital canvas."

Lynette Jackson conçoit son premier projet architectural à 13 ans alors que son oncle fait appel à elle pour concevoir l’agrandissement de sa maison. Actuellement, elle vit près d’Atlanta, en Géorgie.

Lynette Jackson drafted her first renovation plans at the age of 13. Currently Lynette lives in metro Atlanta, Georgia. Lynette Jackson was selected as a Mobile Master 2014 winner and is a featured artist for the accompanying eBook, “Mobile Masters2,” by Dan Marcolina. Ms. Jackson also contributed iPhoneography tutorials to “The Art of iPhone Photography: Creating Great Photos and Art on Your iPhone” by Authors Bob Weil and Nicki Fitz-Gerald. Her images were the set backdrop for the first season of Bravo’s “Property Envy. Architectural blog Archdaily recently named her as one of 25 Instagram feeds to follow. Four of her images were selected for Los Angeles-Mobile Arts Festival 2012.
