Amy Leibrand

Sa démarche artistique / Her artistic statement

Amy is a conceptual artist who uses mobile and instant photography to tell stories. In addition to her two-dimensional photoworks, she creates image-based, and sometimes interactive, mixed media constructs. Often described as dreamlike escapism, Amy's work has gained international attention through exhibits in Paris, Berlin, London and major U.S. cities, and features in VICE magazine, the New York Times and international print publications. She was interviewed by the Emmy-award winning television program Broad & High, which aired on PBS stations in major U.S. markets. Amy is a research scientist by profession and an artist by passion.
